The Teacher is turning into a teacher…I had the opportunity today to finally go see the rooms where my Teacher is going to actually…like mold young minds. Now, granted, she molded some minds last year when she was a sub who was hired to work with the kids who needed some extra help to pass the TAKS, but this year, she gets her own classroom and will be a for real teacher doing what she does.
I had the opportunity to go up with her this afternoon to start decorating her room. We both decided earlier in the week that i wouldn’t come up when the other teachers were there, so I didn’t look like goobermom. But, today, it was safe, so I went up there, and took the Longhorn and the Senior with me. The Longhorn provided many funny moments
That would be the Longhorn holding up the Phonics book and that would be the top half of the Teacher’s head. I was laughing too hard to get The Teacher’s whole head.
We had the best time. Any time I am with these girls, I am laughing
It seems that The Teacher chose the Longhorn to give her first ‘official’ pink slip to. Reason?
I swear, y’all…being in the same room with these three…oh wait..lemme show you The Senior…
As you can see, having a sister who actually has a school room doesn’t mean that you have to stop eating Pringles.
Bottom line is that I was tickled to death to see my daughter’s classrooms. I am proud as punch that someone i made is going to mold young minds…
and she will start with phonics…
as in B is for BEAR.
Might I add that she is teaching 7th grade? Is it sort of scary for anyone other than me that she is going to be teaching PHONICS to 7th graders?
I’m quite sure she will find the place she needs to be to do it…because look how official she look…see the first picture 🙂
Yikes! Seventh-grade. Aren’t they supposed to be able to read, and sort of have minds of their own by then?
I KNOW. We have to keep in mind that these are kids that need a little help…I guess!!
